He becomes a Consultant to the company from 1 May 2010. From a small office in Great Yarmouth, one of the most easterly towns in England, Roger has seen the business he started flourish from its humble beginnings to the global organisation of today, employing 150 professionals in 15 offices situated across 9 countries. Not only has Roger steered the business through its considerable growth, but he has become a distinguished leader of dispute resolution in the construction and engineering sectors. He is regularly consulted by owners, operators and contractors concerning their major claims and commercial problems and he acts as an expert in the areas of quantum and delay analysis. He is widely regarded for always offering no-nonsense advice.

For over two decades, Roger has held senior positions in the Academy of Experts, having been its Chairman for 6 years. The Academy is one of the leading international organisations promoting the very best of standards and practices for experts opining in litigation, arbitration and other forms of dispute resolution. In 2008, Roger led the company to merge with the European Engineering Consultancy, Grontmij, whose 8,000 professionals provide multidisciplinary services in the water, energy, transport and environmental sectors. Having overseen the successful integration of Trett with Grontmij, Roger now intends to focus on his professional activities, actively working with clients and their legal advisors to promote the earliest resolution of the most challenging commercial problems.

Roger leaves behind a strong management team led by Tony Farrow, Group Managing Director. Tony has a long career with Trett Consulting, having joined the firm 21 years ago.
