What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They're used to make sites work, to remember choices, and sometimes to track behaviour across sites.
What cookies we use
trett.co.uk currently uses only essential cookies - cookies that are strictly necessary for the site to function. Our analytics is cookieless (see below), so we set no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Analytics
We use Plausible Analytics to measure how many people visit the site and which pages they read. Plausible is privacy-friendly: it sets no cookies, collects no personal data and does not track you across other websites, so there is nothing to opt out of.
We also use Google Search Console to understand how the site performs in Google Search. It works from our sitemap and Google’s own crawl data - it places no cookies or scripts on this site.
Managing cookies
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking essential cookies will affect site functionality (you won't be able to submit forms or log in).
For more information about cookies generally, see aboutcookies.org.
Changes
We may update this policy as the site changes. The "last updated" date below will show when.
